Melisana

Melisana, daughter of the merchant Melkeras of Specularum, is a good-natured and insightful young woman, of sufficient natural wisdom not to have grown up spoiled by her overindulgent parents. She is determined to run her father's business when he retires from the day-to-day management, and has set herself the task of becoming a good sailor and merchant, a goal she is accomplishing. She is not violent of nature, though the need for survival prompted her to help her new found friends when they were endangered by the Iron Ring.

Baron Ludwig von Hendriks
TBD

Bargle
TBD

Nicolae Halligan
TBD

Eridalun
Wizard of Alphatia and mentor to Syndylys. Eridalun is ageless, seeming old at times but spry and young at others. He is not a noble of Alphatia but is very respected, especially in the area of research concerning Nithia and the ancient Thothians. He was last seen by Syndylys when they were both captured by the Iron Ring.

Alexei Schelepin
Alexei has been with the group since before their first entry into Luln. It was him that got the group started down the path towards Fort Doom and recovery of the Eye of Traldar. Alexei is 30 years old (but looks younger and slightly eager), 6' 3" with straw colored hair, blue-green eyes and no facial hair. He is a Traladaran with some Thyatian blood in his background. He is a friendly, honest and likeable man but can be very serious when confronting dire situations (like the prospect of the Baron getting the Eye of Traldar). He places great value on loyalty and honesty, in sharing resources fairly and does not give his word lightly.

He is from a small homestead named Ryalia in eastern Karameikos. His cousin, Dmitri, and friend, Talan (an Elf), were kidnapped by the Iron Ring several months ago. He joined a band of Elves to search for them but he is the only survivor of his party. They were on the trail of several slavers but they were ambushed by them while on the way to Luln. He has contacts in Luln who also fight against the slavers and Baron Ludwig Von Hendricks (the Black Eagle). He and his friends had discovered that agents of the slavers had stolen an ancient artifact, the Eye of Traldar, from the Lake of Lost Dreams/Souls.

Nikolai Monescu

Mistress Sascia of Luln
This young woman is the current leader of the beleagured town of Luln. Luln rests uneasily in the shadow of the Black Eagle Barony and serves as a crossroads and buffer between the Baron's spies and the good people of Karameikos. Sascia herself is pretty in a rugged sort of way: tall, lean (and stronger than she looks) with very light brown hair, often worn up under a helmet, and dark brown eyes. Her dark complexion is kept darker by working in the constant light of the sun. She wears common tunics, trousers, and boots, and she could easily be mistaken for a common adventurer, as she wears no badge of office. She wears chainmail under her tunic and her only jewelry is a brooch of simple design that designates her as a trusted protector of Luln. She is not exactly friendly when first met as she is always looking for a stranger's hidden agenda but once she knows the person's intentions, she can be very charming and relaxed.

Orok the Ogre

Not much is known about Orok. Captured by the men of the Black Eagle, he was found chained in the dungeons under Fort Doom by the adventurers. Upon his release, he led the charge against his former captors, swinging his former restraints as deadly, whirling instruments of war.

Yolanda of Luln (in exile)

Known as the "The Songbird of Karameikos", Yolanda is one of Specularum's favorite entertainers: she has sung for the royal family, appears regularly at the city's classier taverns (mostly the Black Heart Lily) and has performed with Emilio the Great (the noted actor and playwright) in two of his plays. She is openly critical of Baron Ludwig Von Hendriks and will support most reasonable causes to help the plight of people under his sway. She is also as totally dedicated to the arts, and it is said that no one puts more of themselves into a song of love or heartbreak.

While she is dynamic on stage, those who have met her in person know that she can be shy and surrounds herself with many bodyguards. Yolanda is of medium height and slender, with waist-length straight black hair and large eyes of dark brown. She has dark olive skin but is almost never seen without thick theatrical make-up. She wears costly and colorful Traladaran dresses and much jewelry (bracelets, necklaces, earrings, and anklets).
